ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER.

I have been a member of Todmorden Photographic Society for over 30 years during which time I have photographed a wide range of subjects.

Although still a student pilot (and probably always will be) I love flying light aircraft and have a passion for helicopters.
This fired my interest in aerial photography.

My first opportunity to have a go at taking aerial photographs came during a holiday in Cornwall when I went up with Keith Thompson of Castle Air. Sadly the weather was not as good as it might have been but it was a good experience.

I now fly as often as I can with Simon Edwards of Heli-Jet Aviation based in Leeds.

A good pilot is half the battle when doing aerial photography and my thanks go to Keith and Simon who are both top notch!
